“Kintsugi is the ancient Japanese art of putting broken pottery pieces back together with gold. This serves as a metaphor that by embracing our flaws and imperfections, when healing ourselves, we can create an even stronger more beautiful piece of art.

I resonate with that.”

After graduating with a major in psychology, I realised my real passion lay in being of service. I founded two Non-Profit Organisations working in disadvantaged communities. I provided training and educational programs to these communities for 9 years. To build on this work I co-founded " Trialogue", a corporate social responsibility consultancy. A successful organisation still flourishing today.

2016 was a year of transition, resulting in the launch of my counseling and coaching career. I completed my degree in Counselling Psychology and The Wayfinder Coaching Accreditation. Counseling at Hope House was the first step in building my practice.

I now offer my clients an integrated approach to counselling and coaching. A safe space that supports my clients to heal and make sustained shifts in their lives.

I am a nature-loving empath, an avid lifelong learner, a perpetual seeker of purpose, and a work in progress. I am also funny and unconventional and can be found most days with my bare feet in the sand.

I care deeply about making a difference. The way I do this is to empower my clients with the tools to make the shifts they want in their lives.

Volunteering is part of my ethos and I loved mentoring disadvantaged students in leadership and self-development at TSiBA University. A family volunteering achievement was training two beloved dogs to be of service to sight-challenged people.

Relationships matter

30 years of marriage has led me to believe relationships are key to happiness. I am a committed partner to my husband and a devoted mother to my two children. As an animal lover I know the healing effects of this type of unconditional love.

My journey so far has meant navigating many significant life transitions. Emigration, burnout, empty nest syndrome as well as confronting a longstanding undiagnosed health condition. I bring all my learning from these life lessons to my counseling and coaching.

“I guide, support, and facilitate your journey with empathy and excellence.”
